Attempted by so many people vainly, Dominik Eulberg is the one who can claim for himself having reconciled ornithology and techno successfully. Dominik Eulberg, raving ornithologist from the Westerwald is both: an international booked DJ in spotlight and an observer of the domestic Flora and Fauna in quiescence – a master of reconciled contradictions. He has released numerous singles as well as full-length albums on labels such as Cocoon Recordings and Traum Schallplatten.

Reefer Madness is a 1936 American propaganda exploitation film directed by Louis J. Gasnier that has become a cult hit because of its dated, alarmist views on the dangers of marijuana use and the exaggerated symptoms thereof. It was originally financed by a church group and intended to be shown to parents as a morality tale attempting to teach them about the dangers of their children using marijuana. However, soon after the film was shot, it got into the hands of early exploitation-film icon Dwain Esper, who re-cut the film for distribution on the exploitation film circuit. The film did not gain an audience until it was rediscovered in the early 1970s by Keith Stroup, founder of NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws), who spotted the movie’s unintended comedic potential and began college-campus screenings.

Commissioner Of Sewers combines interview and archival material, paintings, and clips of William S. Burroughs's film appearances (including "Decoder" and Gus Van Zant's "Drugstore Cowboy" and "Thanksgiving Prayer") with footage from his last European reading in Berlin on May 9th, 1986 to create a witty and intriguing portrait of the man described by Norman Mailer as "the only American novelist living today who may conceivably be possessed by genius." 

If my best friend wouldn’t have brought the first Swollen Members album “Balance” to a party at my house around the turn of the millenium, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today. It got me hooked on underground Hip Hop, which resulted in me coming across websites that changed my life forever. I finally saw them live at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark in 2008. Although Mad Child wasn’t present due to sickness or something, it was still one of the best Hip Hop concerts I’ve ever been to. Their new album “Beautiful Death Machine” will be released on Suburban Noize Records on March 19th 2013. Here are all the music videos from the new album that got released so far.

“Fear and Loathing on the Road to Hollywood”, also known as “Fear and Loathing in Gonzovision”, is a documentary film on Hunter S. Thompson produced by BBC Omnibus in 1978. The BBC camera crew follows Hunter and his friend Ralph Steadman, who drew illustrations for several of his articles and books, as they go on a road trip to Hollywood via Death Valley and Barstow from Las Vegas. The documentary contains interviews with Thompson at his "Owl Farm" residence in Woody Creek near Aspen, Colorado, as well as Steadman, and some short excerpts from some of Thompson's work. In Hollywood Thompson meets with screenwriters about the film "Where the Buffalo Roam" in which he is played by Bill Murray, who also makes a brief appearance in the documentary. [Note: The narrator falsely refers to Thompson as a former Hell's Angel. He only spent a year with the San Francisco and Oakland chapters of the club in order to collect material for his Hell's Angels book.]
